Playing Casino Games in the Digital Age

Pictured: A screenshot from World Championship Poker 2

Due to the explosion of poker in the country and to great technological achievements in entertainment, it is only natural for the game to be translated into video and computer games.

One such game is World Championship Poker 2, which is available on different consoles: XBox 2, PS2, Nintendo, and PC. The game features the likenesses of real professional players like Howard Lederer, Greg Raymer, Clonie Gowen, and Annie Duke. You can play against them in any of the 14 variations of poker available in the game, including Texas Hold 'Em, Pineapple, OMAHA, RAZZ A-5, Draw Poker, and 7 Card Stud.

Other well-known poker video games include World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour 2K6, and Stacked with Daniel Negreanu.

Practice as you go with handheld casino video games. Some games are available on PSP, but these individual games are all about different card and casino games such as bridge, solitaire, and roulette, not just poker! And some have interesting features such as calculators and keychains.
